The Romanian Kennel Club has been nominated to organize the European Dog Show 2012 on behalf of the Federation CynologiqueInternationale (FCI).

General Information
The FCI regulations governing dog shows (Section Shows) and those set out by the Romanian Kennel Club apply.
Double entries as well as late entries (after the closing date) are not permitted.
Classes
1. Baby Class: For dogs from 3 to 6 months (CAC/CACIB not possible)
2. Puppy Class: For dogs from 6 to 9 months (CAC/CACIB not possible)
3. Junior Class: For dogs from 9 to18 months (CACIB not possible)
4. Intermediate Class: For dogs from 15 to 24 months
5. Open Class: For dogs from 15 months and over
6. Working Class: For dog from 15 months and over. To enter a dog in working class, the entry form must be accompanied by a copy of the FCI compulsory certificate containing the confirmation – by the member country in which the holder and/or owner has his permanent place of residence – that the dog has passed the test as well as details about this test. The only breeds eligible for the working class are those appearing as working breeds in the FCI Breed Nomenclature, taking into account the exceptions granted to some countries for some breeds.
7. Champion Class: For dogs 15 months and over. To enter a dog in Champion Class, one of the following titles must have been confirmed by day of the official closing date of entries; proof of this, by copy, must be enclosed with the entry form. International Champion of the F.C.I.; National Champion (this title must have been earned in the same FCI member country with at least 2 awards).
National Champion from countries which are not members of the FCI may be recognized.
8. Veteran Class: For dogs from 8 years and over (CACIB not possible)
Optional Collective Classes/Competitions
to compete in these classes/competitions, the dogs must be registered individually in one of the other classes.
Brace/Couple Class/Competition: a dog and a bitch of the same breed and variety and belonging to the same owner.
Breeders Class/Competition: consisting of minimum three and maximum five exhibits of the same breed and variety, without distinction of sex, bred by the same person (same kennel name), even if they are not his property.
Progeny Class/Competition: a sire or dam with minimum three and maximum five of his progeny (first generation, sons/daughters). Dogs entered for the Collective classes have to be entered in one of the other classes for the European Dog Show.
Special Competitions
Junior Handling: For the competition young handlers (10 to 17 years) are allowed to enter. The rules of the FCI for Junior Handling Competitions are applicable.

Show rules
For the present, in Romanian dog shows are admitted all cropped and/or docked dogs.
Anti-doping tests may be possible.
F.C.I. and Romanian Kennel Club show rules apply.
Vaccinations
The entrant/exhibitor declares that any dog entered has been adequately vaccinated (standard vaccinations) of which proof can be shown. The entrant/exhibitor declares further that any dog entered has not knowingly been exposed to any infectious or contagious disease during the twelve weeks prior to the show and that the dog will not be brought to the show should such circumstances arise in the meantime. Dogs coming from abroad are required to have been vaccinated against rabies which must be recorded in a European pet passport. Owners of all dogs present at the show (including visitors’ dogs or demonstrations dogs) must be able to show proof of adequate vaccination by way of a vaccination certificate or European pet passport. Each exhibitor agrees to accept and abide by the decision of the appointed judge. Every dog presented in the ring is considered judged provided presented to the judge appointed to judge that particular breed. Any dog sent out of the wrong by the judge, for whatever reason, is considered judged.
It is forbidden at exhibitions or competitions to use force collars, spike collars and/or other force methods. It is forbidden during the exhibition to call or whistle or attract the attention in any way of a dog currently in the ring. The organization cannot under any circumstances be held liable for damage caused by visitors, trade stand holders, exhibitors or dogs.
Each exhibitor must be familiar with the exhibition regulations and FCI regulations and may not claim ignorance of these regulations.
